Tech files update and new kit info
We are about to release our first bolt in kit. It will fit the 1947-1954 an 1955 First series GM trucks. This is meant for the guy wanting a bit more rugged front end than the ubiquitous Mustang II with the advantage of a full bolt on, no welding installation. 1953-64 Studebaker frame
I have discontinued all the Studebaker products and do not have a desire to continue the product line. Our fixturing was damaged in our move in the beginning of 2020 and the low volume of sales does not warrant the reconstruction of the fixturing. I am not interested in selling plans to build your own. I will entertain a licensing program for those with the capacity for production only.
We have been working on a complete replacement frame for the Studebaker coupe. We had built a complete frame for a customer a few years back where we integrated one of our Studebaker clips and an early C4 Corvette rear suspension. We also learned what does and doesn’t work to make a frame that fits the stock body without modification. Well, very few and simple modifications anyway. Those tiny foot-well boxes behind the front seat have got to go. What we are delivering is a frame with significant improvements in strength. And almost all the stock body mounts are located in stock locations and stock body rubbers are used. No need to alter your front fenders, stock components fit.
Straighter frame rails and more clearance for exhaust systems. We keep the entire frame profile slim for good ground clearance as well as give you room for future modifications. We made the rear kickup quite a bit different by utilizing more space under the stock floor. This gives us better places to attach the triangulated four bars and still not have to modify the floor. This rear kick up is also slightly narrower so that if you decide to do a mini-tub on the rear you have frame clearance to run up to a 275 wide rear tire on a 9″ wheel.

Tool Fab: rear axle stand
We do bike frame repair from time to time so we need to hold things in alignment. I fabricated this little stand that has some adjustment to it to help straighten rear frame sections if needed.
Something went sideways
Don’t know what happened, but apparently all my website widgets hiccuped and disappeared! Doing my best to update the site with current information. I get Emails and phone call from you remarking on how much you enjoy the content here and that I do updates. In doing so I must have pushed a wrong button somewhere. Fortunately it appears everything was saved, just not the locations.
I did my best to remember where they all went, hopefully you can find the information you need. If you have suggestions feel free to comment below.

As tradition, we are flinging the doors open wide for the 12th time to coincide with the Goodguys 16th Western Nationals
This year we are featuring some hands on tool demonstrations and the headliner of the show is our newest acquisition, a 1962 Pullmax P9. Something that hot rodders, bike builders and metalshapers of the like would love to have in their garage (and some have smaller examples!) but few have had the time to see just how one works.
We are also hosting a mini art Gallery. Showing works from Jimmy Smith, Brian Stupski, Christian Otjen, Aaron Voigt and Chris Swanberg.
Robert of Rabbit Hole Moto is organizing a motorcycle ride for early motorcycles. The crew should take off from the shop here around noon and ride up to Fountain Hills to meet up with the second group coming down from Payson area. After everyone gets together they will ride back here just in time for the Open House to get underway. There should be a few 30s Harleys in the ride and Robert is pushing to take the 36 VL we have been working on.
Music will be provided by Dammit Dan, a mix of blues, bluegrass and hillbilly… I think.
