I have an '04 Dakota that will be donating it's chassis to a '52 Studebaker truck body.  I would like to convert the brakes to 5 lug due to the increase in wheel choices.  I have read all of your posted brake compatibilities, but it deals with the earlier Dakotas.  Is there a direct parts swap with earlier 5 lug brakes to the Gen II Dakota?  I will be changing out the entire rear end, so that will be easy to match a 5 lug pattern to what I end up with on the front.  Thanks!

That page has all the Dakota based information including brake interchanges

Nothing past 1996 is convertible to five lug rotors without involving a machinist and custom axles.

Thanks for the information.  Looks like I will be heading to the local machine shop when I get to that point.  I ran a metal fabrication shop for 24 years before I retired, so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.  I wanted to explore the "bolt on swap" possibility first.

I decided to take a slightly different path, and picked up a '94 1st gen.  Now to rid of the 2nd gen!
